How Selling/Buying on uFurno Works

Selling furniture on uFurno is simple. Follow the steps below to list your product, connect with buyers, and complete the sale.


1. List Your Product

To start selling:

  • Open the app and select Sell.
  • Choose a Pickup Date for your product.
  • Pickup charges apply.
  • The pickup charge is borne by the seller.
  • Select the relevant Category and Subcategory.

Example: Living Room → 5 Seater Sofa


2. Review Pricing Details

Once you select the product category, the app automatically displays:

  • Base Price
  • Monthly Storage Rent
  • Pickup Charge
  • Applicable Taxes

This ensures complete transparency before you proceed.

What is Base Price?

Base Price is the minimum guaranteed price for your product. If you prefer not to wait for a buyer, you can choose to sell the product directly to uFurno at the Base Price, and the amount will be paid to you.

What is Monthly Storage Rent?

Every listing includes a 2-week grace period.

  • If your product sells within 2 weeks, no storage rent is charged.
  • If the product is not sold within 2 weeks, you can continue storing it in the warehouse by paying the monthly storage rent shown in the app.

3. Upload Product Photos

Upload clear photos of your furniture through the app. These photos help our team:

  • Verify the product condition
  • Ensure it is resellable
  • Check for visible defects

Once verified, your listing will be approved.


4. Pickup and Warehouse Processing

On the selected pickup date, our team will:

  • Pick up the product from your location
  • Transport it to the uFurno warehouse
  • Clean the product
  • Take detailed professional photographs
  • Document any damages or marks
  • Pack and store it safely
  • Publish the listing on the app

Your product will then be visible to all buyers on the platform. You can also share your listing with others by sending the product link via WhatsApp, groups, or contacts.


5. Buyer Interaction and Offers

Interested buyers can interact with you through the app. Buyers may:

  • Send messages
  • Place an offer (bid)

As the seller, you can:

  • Accept the offer
  • Reject the offer
  • Negotiate the price

Once both parties agree on the price, the sale is confirmed.


6. Delivery to the Buyer

After the deal is finalized:

  • The buyer selects a delivery date.
  • Our team delivers the product to the buyer’s location.
  • Delivery charges are borne by the buyer.

3-Day Buyer Return Policy

Buyers receive a 3-day return window after delivery.

  • If the buyer is not satisfied, they may return the product.
  • If the buyer keeps the product after 3 days, the transaction is considered complete.

Seller Payment

After the transaction is successfully completed:

  • Platform Commission: 20%
  • Inaugural Offer: 50% discount on commission (current Sellers pay only 10% commission)

The remaining amount is then transferred to the seller.


Requesting Your Product Back

You remain in full control of your listing. If you decide to retrieve your product:

  • Submit a Return Request through the app.
  • Our team will arrange delivery back to your location.
